Natalia Kachanova Rhodes

Natalia Kachanova Rhodes was born and lived in Ukraine, where she managed her own business company, worked as a Lead Business Trainer and became famous as a Strategic Planning Specialist. She wanted to paint all her life but rarely had enough time for that until she started her life in Houston, TX, USA, where she has been living over the last 13 years.

Natalia’s artistic life started from decoupage. Using this technique, she created many attractive and useful items ranging from jewelry boxes to kitchen accessories. Many of her friends were happy to have received some of these beautifully detailed items as gifts.

Natalia likes to use mixed media technics to create something new and unusual. Her idea to combine painted canvas and sheer fabric in these works gives these pieces distinctive lightness and individuality, making them truly unique. She also likes to use other materials in her art works, such as: clay, stones and crystals, and flowers.

As a life/art-therapy coach Natalia likes to help people find ways to resolve challenges in their lives. She uses a neuro graphic technic, which helps her clients find their own solutions in a very gentle, colorful way. Natalia also provides art classes for kids and for adults, and she likes to work with senior/retired communities.

Natalia likes to walk, likes nature, seashores and forest, especially because she loves trees, she said that each tree has its own soul. She created her own forest with a spiritual tree of love, happiness and gratitude.

Many of Natalia’s art works include feminine imagery, because she believes that women are the primary source of love in this world. All the women in Natalia’s paintings are pretty. But they are not just pretty; they also awaken positive feelings in the soul of every viewer. They are intended to express love. That is the prime objective of her art.

“What we are is Love “– that is Natalia’s life’s motto.

Natalia has her first solo exhibition “Tree-ology”- in Cultural Center “Our Texas”, Houston. May-June 2021.
