The final Art and Wine Evening from this series will focus on Marc Chagall, a Russian-born artist, early modernist, who was associated with several major artistic styles, Cubism, Fauvism, and Surrealism. Chagall integrated religion, Russian folk art, and mixed reality with fantasy in his work. He worked in various artistic formats, including painting, drawings, stained glass, stage sets, and ceramics. Inspiration for creating our colorful works of art comes from his images of village rooftops, floating lovers, flower bouquets, and home in Vitebsk, Russia.
Thursday, September 16 | 7:00 pm | Tickets – $40 per person | Supplies included.
Tangerine Summer, the painter, and art educator will brief you on the main ideas of Chagall’s art and will help you to create your mixed media painting based on the fantasy works of this talented artist of the 20th century.
