We are excited to present a new art exhibition “When Light Speaks in Color” showcasing the works of Irene Sheytman and Saida Fagala, two artists from Baku, Azerbaijan.
Irene Sheytman, acclaimed for her vivid depictions of urban landscapes, brings a watercolor series inspired by her travels through Italy, Montenegro, and France. Her intricate, light-filled renderings of old European cities invite viewers on a visual journey through architectural grandeur, timeless streets, and storied skylines. With silk and watercolor as her chosen media, Sheytman captures the soul of a place where history and atmosphere intertwine.
Complementing this urban narrative is Saida Fagala, whose deeply expressive ceramic portraits offer a profound study in mood, form, and color. Coming from a lineage of artists, Fagala’s work spans multiple mediums—from ceramics to ink—each piece rich with emotional texture and imagination. Her portraits reflect both technical mastery and playful exploration, inviting the viewer into a world where emotion takes shape in clay.
The event is open to the public and promises an unforgettable evening of fine art, conversation, and community.
All works of art are available for purchase.
Admission is free.
The gallery is open Monday to Friday 9:30 am – 3 pm, Saturday 9 am – 2 pm, Sunday – 9 am – 2 pm.
