ART EXHIBIT “BIG CITY”
Come to our center to experience our new exhibit – “Big City”, showcasing captivating cityscape artworks by local artists: Maksim Koloskov, Irene Sheytman, Irina Zamotorina, Volodymyr Shkred, and Olga Porter. This exhibit will explore the dynamic beauty of urban life, bringing together diverse artistic interpretations of cityscapes through watercolors and oil.
Maksim Koloskov, an award-winning architect and artist, known for his watercolor depictions of urban life.
Irene Sheytman brings her urban landscapes to life through watercolor, inspired by her travels through historical cities.
Olga Porter explores the balance between tradition and modernity in urban environments.
Ukrainian artist Volodymyr Shkred was born and raised in Kyiv. In 2022, he was forced to leave his homeland due to the war. Here in America, he developed a passion for painting urban scenes, where the interplay of light and shadow takes center stage.
Irina Zamotorina prefers to use black paper for her oil pastel works to express color richness, achieve compositional unity, and enhance decorativeness.
The “Big City” exhibit will offer art lovers a chance to immerse themselves in these diverse and vibrant interpretations of urban life. All artworks are available for sale. Be the first to get your favorite cityscape.

Location: Cultural Center “Our Texas” located at 2337 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77005
The exhibition will offer attendees the opportunity to acquire pieces of their artwork, as all displayed pieces will be available for purchase.
Admission is free, and all are welcome to indulge in an evening celebrating artistry, culture, and creativity.
The gallery is open Monday to Friday 9:30 am – 3 pm, Saturday 9 am – 1 pm.
