Light and Shadow is a journey into a world where emotions are born from contrasts. This series explores how light defines form, reveals texture, and simultaneously conceals and unveils the depth of human nature.
Each image is a dialogue between light and shadow, between the seen and the hidden, between reality and imagination. Where does one end and the other begin? Where does the body end and its reflection start? These questions lie at the heart of Masha’s work.

The exhibition presents a collection of black-and-white photographs where the delicate interplay of light creates an atmosphere of mystery, softness, and sometimes even drama. Nothing here is accidental – every beam of light has its own voice, every shadow tells a story.

Light and Shadow is an invitation to see beauty in the nuances, to feel the depth of simple forms, and to take a moment to experience the magic of light.

Masha Glebova is an internationally recognized photographer and expert in portrait and conceptual photography.
Since 2006, she has been creating visual narratives that explore the interplay of light and shadow, capturing the depth of emotions, the fragility of moments, and the intricacies of human nature.

Her work has received worldwide recognition. Masha Glebova is a winner of prestigious photography awards, including the **Gold Medal at Red&Roll 2024** and the **Bronze Medal at Budapest International Foto Awards 2024**. In 2020, she was a finalist in the **Documentary Family Awards 2020**. Her works have also earned **Honorable Mentions** at the **PX3 PRIX DE LA PHOTOGRAPHIE PARIS** and the **International Photography Awards (IPA).**

Masha Glebova is a laureate of globally renowned photography competitions, including the **Gold Medal at Daylight HIPA 2021** and **Serbian Photo-Salon “Child” 2013**, as well as a recipient of the **FIAP award**.
In 2024, she was invited to serve as a juror for the **Best Family Photo** international competition, further solidifying her status as an expert in photographic art.

Her work has been exhibited at prestigious venues worldwide, including **ImagiNation 2025 (London), BICFP Roma Expo 2014 (Italy), SAN FRANCISCO CPS 2024 (USA), and the “С молоком матери” exhibition (Ukraine).**

Masha Glebova’s solo exhibition, **”Light and Shadow”**, explores the dynamic interplay between light and form, showcasing her unique approach to contrasts and deep visual storytelling.

Admission to the opening reception and gallery is free.

The gallery is open Monday to Friday 9:30 am – 3 pm, Saturday 9 am – 1 pm, Sunday 10 am – 2 pm.
