MUSICAL EVENING WITH MAESTRO HANS GRAF
On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 7:30 pm Cultural Center “Our Texas” welcomes back Maestro Hans Graf with the long-awaited Musical Evening “Romantic Reminiscence”. During this event, the former Houston Symphony Music Director and world-class conductor Maestro Graf will talk about the Romantic era in Western Classical music.
Romantic music or the Romantic period in Classical music is commonly associated with the 19th Century when the music became increasingly expressive and inventive. Famous Romantic composers include Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Brahms, Rachmaninoff to name a few. And music by some of these composers you will be able to enjoy at the “Romantic Reminiscence” Evening.
You will have a wonderful chance to listen to some incredible compositions by Romantic composers performed by a vivid chamber musician and award-winning concert pianist– Artem Kuznetsov.
The program includes F. Schubert “Drei Klavierstücke, D.946”, N. Medtner “Forgotten Melodies Op. 38”, and S. Rachmaninoff “Etude Tableau Op.39”.
