The catastrophic events that unfolded in 2022 between Russia and Ukraine changed the lives of millions of people. There was a spontaneous migration of the population of these countries. People found themselves in places, conditions and cultures that were different and unaccustomed to their daily lives. “In 2022, I was at the center of migration events in the Republic of Uzbekistan, where more than 38,000 Russians arrived after the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine”, – Svetlana says.
